I have one, it's pretty nice and has a ton of options you can configure for the price. I would say stability wise 8/10.

GL.iNet's GL-MT6000 is $127, and supported by OpenWRT.

This Asus ROG never will be.

Yeah, I bought one of those. They don't test them and if DOA, won't exchange, only refund. Mine had a bad WAN port and wouldn't connect to internet. Also. the tri-color leds flickered and went out, never to come back on. Also, the router was getting very warm at idle. No warranty. Returned it.

Careful, there are reports of security issues with Asus routers and how they operate with their programs. Gamers Nexus got some videos on this stuff.
