I've gotten a few of the smaller sizes of these and can say that the bright images came out looking really nice but the dark ones lacked any detail in the darker areas. So I'm going to try this deal with some of my brighter images.

In my experience, that's how metal prints go. I've had metal prints from bay photo and shiny prints (two fairly big ones) and you generally don't want metal prints that aren't light, colorful, and vibrant

I agree, but I've found (and others have posted) that if you use their image settings to increase the brightness (say, from 50% to 60 or 65) when making the project, it will look better on metal

I concur. I just had one made from a sunset I shot in New Zealand. Definitely worked as hoped

One thing to remember, is that photos on your screen/ monitor are backlit, making them brighter than a print on paper.

They look pretty good. I spray them with glossy clear coat to protect and easier cleaning.

Just had one done. Had a couple of 11"x14"'s done a couple of years ago. Today's, NOT even close to quality of frame material thickness! Photo was a mat finish compared to previous gloss finish, higher quality overall on previous order. Was told by Walgreens employee that corporate is always trying to find another way to save money and compromise quality!! Quality was horrible and returned item for full refund!
