This isn't a bad deal, but if you are a Sam's Club member, you can get a 12-piece combo pack with 8 erasable pens and 4 erasable highlighters for $9.98 on sale. The regular price is $11.98.

Dang, I just bought the 5 pack from Walmart today for $7.88, I may grab one of these next time I'm at Sam's.
The reviews on the highlighters seem pretty good.
These look interesting, and the colors in this set look like they'd be be fun for doodling.
Unfortunately they're not archival if anyone is wondering, so any disappearing tricks will ultimately be for good so don't sign any legal papers. Only Pilot's G2 Blue/Black inks are archival at this time.
The inks disappear when exposed to high temps (90+). I used to work in a manufacturing plant that used big industrial presses. The plant was open air and it would get extremely hot in the summer time. I was using these pens at the time and had to double check some paperwork I had issued out to the production floor, and discovered all of my hand written notes had disappeared.

Your notes would have re-appeared if you put them in the freezer. These have been my pen of choice for years. The eraser works because the heat created by the eraser is what makes the color disappear. But everything you erased will reappear if the papers are exposed to cold.

I left one of these pens in the hot car and tried to bring it back to life in the freezer. It didn't work. Any suggestions? I love the pens otherwise.

MEH. I have the pack. The Orange, Lime, and Turquoise are worthless. Colors are too light... Pink is solid, but not the best for the office.
As for these pens in general. For a rocketbook they do a solid job. They burn through ink though and stop writing too often. I wouldn't use for a normal pen unless you do the rocketbook style stuff. For that purpose these are the best option.
Ended up getting just a blue and black pack with refills. Wish they has a BLACK, Dark Blue, Blue, Green, Red pack.

I definitely have had many of these pens quit working prematurely. Putting them in the freezer sometimes brings them back to life but I think it is maybe 30% of the time. I have not had any success with other ways I have tried.
I just ordered 2 sets from Amazon. They applied a promotional credit without me doing a thing and by the time tax and everything was included, my total was $16.80. I'm very pleased. Even if some give out early, $16 for 2 packs is worth the fun. The kids will enjoy them & so will I. I was beyond thrilled at the $15 promotion bonus on top of this price!
