On a laptop via web browser, I tried to initiate outbound wire transfer from CIT bank for an entire balance ~~whole~~ ~~amount~~ and instantly got pop-up screen with offer to boost APY by 0.480% for 12 months.
Try to initiate wire transfer for an entire balance ~~whole~~ ~~amount~~ and see if you can get the same offer.

Yeah that's correct but this is assuming the base rate will remain 4% over the next year which seems pretty unlikely i.e. I believe it will drop, but it will most likely drop for all banks

The website is always down while trying to access on my PC. It blows my mind how this bank can never get their own site to load properly. I have the app also but it's still annoying.

I can't seem to get it to work. I have a platinum savings account and it says it's not eligible for transfers? I tried a wire transfer but we got to the last page asking for identification verification via PIN code. Any guidance or exact steps?

Edit: got it to work. Have to add external account in transfers.

I'm also having difficulty getting the pop-up to work. ACH attempts on Chrome, Firefox and the app aren't getting the pop-up.

Worked in App as well. Tried transferring little more than half of the account balance and got the offer before accepting the final transfer. Thank you OP.

Went through a wire transfer all the way till the 2 factor authentication. Stopped it there and wasn't prompted. Went back and did an ACH and then was given the offer just after clicking on "transfer".
