I've run Netgear G-series switches for something like 25 years with zero issues. Currently running four 5/8-port units in my home network, had a 24-port for LAN parties back in the 100Mb days.

Would love to go up to 2.5Gb or 5Gb at some point (the 27TB+ transfer during my recent NAS upgrade took a while), but I'm waiting until more of my devices support those speeds.
