The problem is not electricity. The major consumption is the lamp, and it is less than 40W. The problem is it attracting all the bugs but mosquito!

Mosquitoes are the worst. They are like tiny zombies. Just waiting for a human to be anywhere near and they attack. Feels like they know I am inside too, and just wait by all the doors for someone to open it.

Very vague specs in terms of dimensions. I had to look it up on Amazon, which it's priced for $29.99. I believe it's the same model.

We had one for a few weeks and we announced one point for every mosquito, but negative 100 points for every dragonfly.

5 minutes later we were at least 300 in the hole.

These aren't effective for any use. They'll attract more biting insects to your yard but they don't control them any any way.

Totally useless and attract biting insects to your yard.
"Jonathan Day, associate professor of entomology with UF's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences said tests at the UF/IFAS Florida Medical Entomology Laboratory in Vero Beach show that thousands of beneficial insects — not mosquitoes — are the main victims of the electric devices. Out of some 10,000 insects destroyed by one bug zapper during a one-night test period, only eight were mosquitoes."

Unfortunately they are no good, went to trash after one week of being ineffective, it might kill a moth but not mosquitos. So useful insects get killed and the bad guys have a blood feast.

I went to that lab on an elementary field trip in the 80s. Haven't heard it mentioned since!
