To get the 30% rebate you must buy at 3000 Wh unit which costs around $1,200. Before rebate. So it's worth looking for Pecron, Oupes units around that price.

I asked my tax lady and she said for the solar credit to apply the battery has to be permanently installed - portables no bueno.FWIW I got this battery about 6 months ago - it's worked flawlessly. At the time Amazon was selling these for the same price but they threw in their smallest battery for free.

I can't see anything that says the single unit is requirement. I think as long as you have proof to show total of 3kwh or greater, you're good.

Good tip. Thank you. Was curious. Good news is that there's almost nobody left to enforce tax law so, doubt anyone would check whether the permanent system has wheels or not.

I dont think it states permanently anywhere. It only says installed on your home. Also there is no language indicating what installed means.

Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but yes you can. Get a dummy ground plug and then your 110v standard mobile charger will work. 4-5 miles per 1KW.

Not sure about other states, but in CA, it cannot be a mobile/stand alone unit. Needs to be connected to your house.
