Avoid it like plague. Worst airline ever.
Terminal crew is straight out of Popeyes Chicken.
If you didn't have any previous bad experience then it's a miracle. Luck will eventually run out.
Never buy for family trips. Will assign kids solo seats.

I needed to buy a ticket for a set date anyway. Compared to $400+ options, Frontier was offering $140 with layover option. The site give me a lot of problems. I even tried to register a new account but issue still persist.
I finally thought I solved the issue and I was able to book with a DiscountDen price of $65. However, I do not see my membership as a discountden membership now. Really weird. To be honest discount den or not, I may not use it for a year but it would ve been nice to have that option ready.
Booked with a Sapphire card, hopefully would be enough warranty if things go south!

Keep in mind, it is probably cheaper because you get a backpack/personal item only. Nothing else.

No even with backpack the price was $140 if I decline discount den membership.
Talked with customer service and they told it'll show in 2 days or they can do it later if I contact them. Big if true...
Horrible website and horrible app as well.
Oh shit this was supposed to be September only? I tried LAX-LAS for November and it was working for $16 too. interesting.

$16 flight was working, but the DD membership probably wasn't.

Did you select to enroll in the membership at the time of purchase? That is how the deal works. When you select your flight, there are two options on the bottom. One on the left is DD, the one on right is standard. Select the Discount Den, shows that cost as $0 and then proceed with the purchase. Worked instantly for me, including the Discount Den email.
if you're booking 2 flights does it discount the passenger also? or you only booked 1 flight?

trying to do the same and keep getting the below error, any clue what this means? All info was correct and prepopulated based on my login info Error: Passenger information is inadequate for selected flights
Yea the site may just be a lil glitchy. I had the same issue but retried it a couple times on the web and it all worked out, got my Den. (I rejected cookies too, in case that makes a difference.)

All their Discount Den offers are priced at the same level as regular prices from a few months ago. They're basically raising prices and giving you a 1-year lock on old prices (i.e pulling a Verizon price 'guarantee' scam).

Frontier is fine for short leg flights for quick backpack trip.

I fly frontier a bit and have their credit card (only for sign on offer). I never had any issues....or more like never had an issue that I was one at fault. If you follow their rules, generally you are fine. If you dont, plan on being charged a lot. It's a gamble. I never had to pay for oversized luggage or weights because I preplanned what I would do if I was told my luggage was over or something. Risks I took so its on me. I travel with kids, and generally we sit together. If wife is with us they also do 2 and 2. Never pre selected. Again, thats on me and airline has no responsibility. If they do its a courtesy. Dont expect it, and if you want to sit next to someone then buy a seat selection. I had more issue from United with a pre selected seats for me and 2 kids from Korea to LA. In summary, you follow rules and you will have a cheap and easy flight. You break the rules or expect them to cater to your cheapness then you may be in for a shock.

I mean, you can find 16$ trips. You can find point redemption for 2.5k points. As long as its safe, that is simply a crazy price for a flight.
