Not sure what people still use 9v batteries for, the only things I have that still use them are DMM's, stud finders, and ceiling birds.

The Dollar tree 9v's work just fine for those and I usually get over a year out of them in the ceiling birds. Still cheaper than the Energizer deal by over $2.

Gun safe key pads usually use them and sometimes in a multimeters but yeah not much out side of the most common in smoke alarms like you said.

I was about to impulse buy but not sure I'd even use the 4 in the next couple years...Or ill just forget i have them or lose them by the time i need one lol.
