I have this tool. I think they didn't spend enough effort on the switch. Sometimes it WON'T turn on. Sometimes it WON'T turn off and I have to remove the battery. Other than that, it does the job.

I have the Ryobi set already, but I don't have a multi tool yet. Should I hold out for brushless on this tool specifically or does that not really matter for this tool?

its a very niche tool. I have the brushed and it works fine, but the ryobi blades are awful. If youre going to use both tools, I think its worth it.

edit: wrote brushless, meant brushed

Whats this fascination with brushless. I have brushed dewalt drill and impact that i got some 15 years ago and they run like new and smooth except batteries dont hold as much charge. I invested in ryobi already and i dont havr these two tools. This is OK deal considering they sell huge set for $299 during sale periods. I also have dremel but plugging it in is a hassle. Dont expect to multitool through steel with this, but sander could be very useful. I think it has vacuum attachment, so no bag, thsts a minus.
