These are great sponges! The trick to make them (and any sponge) last longer without smelling is to thoroughly rinse and squeeze them out in cold water ✌️😀

Not sure when the change happened, but these now feel less stiff and dense compared to how they were approximately 2 years ago.

only way to keep the prices low is that quality goes down to offset inflation

Or they could be less greedy and less obsessed with infinite growth and shareholder value. Pretty sure they can still make profit without lowering the quality. Also, the price of these still have increased in price. So they lowered the quality and increased the price.

https://keepa.com/#!product/1-B0043P0IAK Change the range to "All" and you can see the increase in price. So they aren't just lowering the quality to "offset" inflation.

My last 24 pack I bought had $4.50 off which made it $10.49 = about 43 cents each. They are also individually wrapped.

The quality of Scotch-Brite sponges has gone downhill. It used to be that you could reuse old kitchen sponges for cleaning, but now they self-destruct before it comes to that. Does anyone know of better brands?
