We have this vacuum and it's actually really great. It has strong suction and is easy to carry around. I bought it when it was $75 to get the extra battery, and just took a chance on the vacuum. We've been very happy with it.
we have several Hart tools and I wanted an extra battery so that's why I initially got this one. A single battery costs $60, so for $15 extra I got a vacuum.

I assume they mean that they bought this JUST to get a 4.0Ah battery. The MSRP of this battery is $90, so getting it for $75 is a good deal, and happens to include a vacuum.
This is a pretty common strategy for tool & battery systems (DeWalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi, etc.)
Can also vouch for how amazing this vacuum is. Toss your brooms. Wall mount the charger under the sink. ONLY issue... the sick/handle doesnt actually click into anything. its just a friction fit. Comes out sometimes
This thing is pretty great but doesn't really have a role in my house. It's not as flexible as a stick vac and there are no attachments so it can only do floors. The brushroll doesn't spin when you have the handle locked upright so it's kinda hard to use on carpeted stairs. It does well in the kitchen (with or without brush spinning).
It's surprisingly good as a regular floor vacuum but you're probably going to have a regular plug-in vac for a whole house. If you didn't want a full size plug-in vac for smaller homes or an apartment, this would probably be good. Maybe if you have a small upstairs and don't want to lug the full-size up there?
It does what it does well, it's just limited in what it can do. You probably need something versatile alongside it. In that case you might be better suited just getting one vac that can do it all.

I also have this and purchased it for the additional battery. I am very impressed. Probably gonna buy another one for the additional battery and a backup vac.

I bought this vacuum last year for my cleaning business when it was $75 and instantly regretted not buying more. The price went up to $150 until now. This little vacuum picks up better on commercial glue down carpet than my shark vacuums and the run time is more than 30 minutes with full suction and brushroll on. I just bought 2 more, thank you!

Not true. Just got mine delivered today. The handle clicks/locks into the main body.
