Good deal, but I don't have enough solar capacity to fill another battery. 😢

$350/kWh is on the better end from the likes of EcoFlow and Anker, but keep in mind the DIY solutions are still in the $100-200/kWh range.
You can get a DIY battery with 2x the capacity of BOTH of these EcoFlow batteries combined. (16kWh vs 8kWh) for ~$1,000 LESS than this price.

I have two delta pro 3s, and I've considered getting these smart batteries. But at this point I don't know whether to keep investing in the ecoflow ecosystem or start from scratch with a DIY solution. I'd like to be able to add capacity a little at a time without having to sink a couple thousand bucks each time.

If that's the case (and you're handy), the DIY solution is much better in my opinion, especially if you need a lot of capacity. Ecoflow is very expensive, but also very convenient.

I'm right there with you.. Have 15kwh of external batteries to go with my DP3. If they would offer these for around $1000 each it would make much more sense.

You are correct. Either you do the work, or you pay someone else to do the work. This is the same for anything: make your own clothes or buy at a store, work on your own car or pay someone else to do it, cook your own food or pay at a restaurant. Nothing new here.

What do you all use these EcoFlow batteries for? Do you charge them to use during power outages or for camping?

Does this work like Tesla batteries for solar? Also, not everything is a DIYable project. For example, you cannot build your own car that looks modern, and even if you did, it would probably cost you more.

I have a ground array in the yard. They are meant for backup, but I generate about 12kWh per day and use it to run many things in the house full time. Right now I am offsetting about 40% of my electricity. I don't know anything about Fascist batteries...,
