all of the specs are effectively the same until you get to the os updates. the edge+ is only getting 3 updates from 2023. and the s25fe will have android 23/ one ui 15. different world over there.
the chip is also better on the s25fe. only downside here is the storage.

this is the edge+ final year of os update. it is already eol

Has anyone received a shipping confirmation?

No shipping confirmation for me as of yet as well. Ordered yesterday.

In the past, they usually were very quick with shipping, by the end of same day or early mor inv next day.

what are the details of the requirement to "verify your id".

did u folks (or anyone that has ordered this) have to do that?

what is the process?

Hello, the ID verification is not as bad as it sounds and they often don't require it on the first device order when opening a new line of service.

When adding additional lines they will pull up your consumer report record using the info provided when placing the order to ask you 3 personal multiple choice questions, 'which of these addresses have you been associated with?", "whats your uncles bobs approximate age", "which of these companies do you have a history with?" etc

The 'quiz' will pop up after hitting order submit but before order confirmation. If they can't find any record of the name being used, get a question wrong, or if you take too long to answer the questions they will reject your order. It's to limit people ordering under pseudonyms.

good to know they ask questions rather than require a DL upload or some other nonsense like other carrier.

thats too bad.i think 128 is plenty for 90% + of populationon my 2023 mep2023 with 512, currently using 48
All three of my daughters which are all teenagers take so many photos and videos and have apps installed that they maxed out 128 GB in about 2 months. That's why I had to buy phones with micro SD card support. The only way around that is by paying for a subscription to a photo backup service like Google Photos, Amazon Photos. so we ended up paying for the two terabyte Google plan to share it as a family. But even then unless they know how to go in and delete all the photos that have synced to the cloud their phones are still complaining that they're out of storage space. My wife is the same way. had to buy a 512 GB phone for her to not be constantly complaining about there being storage issues. My 512 GB phone has only 200 GB used. 🤷 I would say you're probably smarter than your average layperson on keeping your phone tidy.
128gb is even trying for my 79yr old mom. She loves my Note 20, but 128gb is stupid as hell when a near majority of it is reserved for Google and Samsung crap. No phone should be saddled with only 128gb because it's not 128gb of user accessible storage. They should really advertise the size of storage based on what's user accessible.

Buying a stream of undesirable Android devices (because the parent personally is partisan to Android) despite iPhones costing the same money (a 13 is $50, a 14 is $150, the 16e has been cheap as hell from Boost and so has the 15...) in exchange for things that matter to young people in the US - being able to share location with friends and see the location of friends and having full texting feauresis, well...a choice. Not a great one.
How about I don't want to waste a bunch of money on it platform that we're not already invested in. I want to be able to monitor my kids usage habits which I don't know on Android if I have the ability to monitor their iPhone app time usage or their access when they're grounded to take away everything except for emergency calling. How about buying Google One storage that goes across the whole family as a shared storage amount. All these issues are problems with cross-platform families. I'd rather not spend my personal money buying them a phone that I can't monitor. What bad parenting. Get out of here troll!

I ordered on the 4th, even with two 2 to 3 shipping selected:

"Your order is estimated to arrive 9/10/2025"

I remembered back in the days, I will receive my new phone from Metro a day later after my order is placed.
