all of the specs are effectively the same until you get to the os updates. the edge+ is only getting 3 updates from 2023. and the s25fe will have android 23/ one ui 15. different world over there.
the chip is also better on the s25fe. only downside here is the storage.

this is the edge+ final year of os update. it is already eol

Locked for 12 months is just too long. I am looking for the Best unlock service?
This is what I have found so far..

The quickest and cheapest way to get the S25 FE phone unlocked is to buy it at Total Wireless.

IN-Store: $99 with a 2-month plan. Unlocks in 60 days.
Scroll down, and you will see it.

I went with Total Wireless. Hard to beat.. Unlocks in 2 Months. 12 months with Metro is just way too long just to get it unlocked..
The reviews at BestBuy are excellent, and they paid a lot more than us Slick dealers did. nod

what was your total cost?

did u get a "2month" ($100) plan?
or a 1month ($50) plan (which u will pay an additional month obviously)

any restriction on the port in number?

In fact if it is the same stock as the Black Friday free "on us" offer, and I think it is, this is the factory unlocked U1 model and is unlocked from the gitgo.

However it will not make much difference because with your offer you will have to pay 2 months service up front, locked or unlocked.

I ended up paying only $100 total ($50 tax and $50 for one month service).

Be wary that many Total stores will refuse to sell without at least a $25 network activation fee and many look for an additional setup fee, also many add the $5 protection plan, though that is easy to cancel later.

They store charged me $150 at the time of sale and refused to give me an itemized bill of sale.

However when I followed up afterward with the store owner to get an itemized bill of sale (I knew I would win that one), refunded $50 of the charges as well without my even asking. I guess he wanted the bill of sale to be defensible.

I believe that for at least some published offers, they are not supposed to add extras, not even the $25 network activation fee that stores normally charge.

Yes that is correct. It was only for Black Friday and the weekend. Actually I think some people got it earlier in the week also at some stores. It was discussed vaguely in another thread briefly but people focused on other aspects and it did not attract any attention. I was thinking of posting here and probably should have but guessed incorrectly that people would see it where it was.

I will say that these Total stores are often very hard to deal with. So much so that I hesitated in sending people there. But you yourself are so experienced in dealing with stores that maybe it will be easy for you. Some people have had problems finding stores with stock too so phoning ahead may be advisable.
