Might want to edit the post and title to make it clear that this is the lightstrip for backlighting 75" TVs, not just a 75" lightstrip.

Yes, it'll work on an 85" TV as I have it. It'll just sit inside the edge by about 6" or so. still nets a cool effect with the HDMI box for TV syncing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you still need other equipment for this to actually change colors with what's displayed on the tv correct?

This is an incredible price on something that is admittedly very expensive and niche.

I have this along the sides and top of my 83" OLED and an additional hue gradient light strip to finish off the bottom. It works very well with the 8k sync box.

This is definitely a very expensive setup that cost more than a lot of people's TVs. It's very much for enthusiasts.

You will need a Hue Play HDMI syncbox for it to update with your media. Otherwise it just acts as a standard hue lightstrip that can be controlled via app.

Govee offers an all-in-one and exponentially cheaper solution but you'll need to be okay with having a physical camera pointed at your TV.

Good deal. We absolutely love ours. I believe this is their largest version, or at least it was when I bought my 83" TV. It works perfectly fine. As another poster commented, you just mount it a few inches in from the edge, like you are mounting it on a 75".Also to note, if you have the tv on the wall and want all four sides lit, you'll want to grab a hue gradient lightstrip that is approximately the width of your TV. You'll have to get creative with mounting because those lights aren't made to cover an outward field of view from in back of a TV. It's hard to explain. You would have to mount them on the bottom edge of your TV to get the lights to point downward. If you mount them on the back of the TV, they would shine on the wall behind your TV. My solution was to first mount a plastic "L" strip on the back of the TV. Then I mounted them to the bottom of it, so now they point down and out, like the ones in this deal do.Hope this helps someone if they were wanting to do all four sides of their TV.

Definitely. I picked up the 65" when it was really cheap last year and even that does just fine on an 85" if it's not tight up against the wall. You just have to measure carefully to inset the strip from the edge correctly.

Govee makes an HDMI box version too. Whole setup cost is pretty close to just this strip.

At this price it should include the tv! Buy seriously, you still have to buy a sync box too?
