To the contrary, it finished quite well, in fourth place overall, -- reason being that it did not do well on MDF.
I have this tool for breaking down cardboard boxes and it performs great, only struggling when dealing with really thick board.

just look for electric scissors on amazon. there are better versions going for 20 bucks, which feature usb type c charging.

This thing doesn't work, a utility knife works way better. I struggle a lot more trying to make that little opening bite the cardboard with this than a regular knife.

If you happen to have a lot of cardboard to cut and you have an oscillating multi-tool, you can pick up a knife blade attachment. It'll cut cardboard like butter.

I agree. It works but just way too slow.
Works for me. I actually only use these if my hands aren't good enough. Some of the rigid thick cardboard is impossible for me to tear, and this goes through those like butter. You do have to put in a little effort to keep the cardboard straight as possible

Am I the only one who uses this for the plastic clam packaging? At this price it's worth it just for that. I don't use it for cardboard but this has saved my fingers from so many cuts opening plastic packaging.

Project farm hasn't steered me wrong except for this one. It's slow as crap and it doesn't have enough power for thicker cardboard. Even the Fantec one that he rated low was much better and faster than this.
