insanely overpriced. the Bosch 800 has gone up so much in value and if you keep your eyes open over on Costco you can get like a top-tier Whirlpool stainless steel in and out delivered and installed for like $68 less than 50 decibels. this is just Overkill. you're just blowing your cash... maybe $750 on sale but no way they can price this at MSRP of 1500. that's ridiculous

$400 discount but then you pay about $400 for installation, parts and delivery. No deal here

Is it the tariffs? I was looking at one of these a few months ago from Costco and it was around $1200 and I just checked and it's $1600 now.

Is this one that has to be connected to the internet to use certain features?

Yes tariffs jacked everything up, even baseball cards on eBay

I don't know who these commenters are - Bosch is very high quality, and super quiet. This cannot be compared to Samsung/LG/GE/Fridgidaire/Whirlpool.

Yes, that's right. Gemini's summary: A significant point of frustration for some users is that certain cycles and options, like the "Delay Start" function, are only available through the "Home Connect" app. This forces users to rely on a smart app for basic functions that were traditionally available on the physical control panel. While the app provides additional features like voice control and customized cycles, tying essential functions to it can be seen as a move to increase user engagement with the app at the expense of simplicity and on-appliance usability.

It could be an attempt to tie features to a subscription service as well. We've seen that happen all too frequently with other services that started out being free.

My Bosch broke in 4 yrs! Before that I had an LG that lasted 15 yrs. Not sure about Bosch quality. Looking for a new one to replace the Bosch - probably Kitchenaid or another LG.

We installed a Bosch when we built our home in 2009.. Still going strong and I have had absolutely no problems in the whole time. ( except replacing a couple plastic tabs that hold adjustable dish rack sections) 100% would buy again
