If you have Costco membership and go though the Costco Next Anker portal this is the normal price for this charger

I bought this one a month ago despite not being grounded. I did want a ground, but then I realized that almost no USB-C chargers are grounded, so why would I insist on this one being grounded?

The main benefit of ground pins is in case the case of the high-voltage device accidentally gets electrified. But this charger is all plastic on the outside.

This is actually better than the newer model with screen and knob, as it wastest less power when on-standby and it provide more accurate charging performance and higher peak power.

Can I get one that monitors over temp more than 6 million times a day like this one? I don't think so. šŸ˜‚ Always interesting to see how they market them.

Anker website doesn't list what power standards this supports but I assume most of them per the output specs:

Specifications

Model number A2683
Anker Charger (200W, 6 Ports) The Supercharged 6-in-1 Desktop Charging Station

Input 100-240V~, 3.2-2.5A, 50-60Hz

USB-C Output USB-C1 / C2 / C3 / C4: 5.0VāŽ“3.0A, 15.0W / 9.0VāŽ“3.0A, 27.0W / 10.0VāŽ“2.25A, 22.5W / 15.0VāŽ“3.0A, 45.0W / 20.0VāŽ“5.0A, 100.0W (100.0W Max)

USB-A Output USB-A1 / A2: 5.0VāŽ“3.0A, 15.0W / 9.0VāŽ“2.0A, 18.0W / 10.0VāŽ“2.25A, 22.5W / 12.0VāŽ“1.5A, 18.0W (22.5W Max)

Dimensions 4.4 Ɨ 3.0 Ɨ 1.4 in / 112 Ɨ 76 Ɨ 35 mm

Weight 1.24 lb / 563 g

Note1 When using two USB-C ports simultaneously, each can deliver up to 100W max output. For 100W output, use E-Marker chip cables; output depends on the device's max input power and may vary during different charging phases.

Note2 Ensure the AC cord is fully inserted into the charger and the outlet before use. If charging is not possible, please reinsert the AC cord.

Note3 We recommend using the provided AC cord or a standard C7 2-pin AC cord with a current rating greater than 3.2A.

Note4 Desktop charger products do not require grounding. The AC cord has double insulation protection, and the product is UL and CB certified for safe use.

Note5 The exterior casing is plastic with a metallic coating. It is safe and reliable for use.

I wonder if going with this, if I would have the issue on my Lenovo Legion Pro from 2022 that I have been dealing with while trying to find these that would work. Namely they seem to randomly dip below 100W for a moment here and there and the Legion will just instantly go off plug if it's not 100W. Even 96Watts which is what most of the "100W" systems actually output, it won't even register it as plugged in. Extremely annoying because it resets all the monitors and stuff for a moment then comes back.

Given that it can handle ostensibly 2 100W full power outputs, maybe it could handle 1 without randomly dipping.

I bought this a year ago. It works great. I can charge laptops, phones, and anything else at full fast charge capacity at the same time. It's also heavy enough that it doesn't move too easily on whatever table you have it sitting on

it has it's own protection inside to kill power in case of an extreme voltage spike or any sort of shortage caused by external sources. Just keep it away from water, you will be fine.

The power dips seem to be an issue with this, it's been mentioned before in previous threads.

yeah, these will never provide full promised charging on single rate 100% of the time consistently, this depends on the negotiation in between the charger and the device is being charged. Multiple layer of communication in between devices are variesm, some for temp reasons, some for board protection, battery life protection etc... Even if the charger does, device you are charging will constantly negotiate to change the rate.

The power dips below 100 watts because the USB-C charger is overheating. It does not have any fans to cool it down, so it has to throttle the power down to cool off.
There is also an issue with coil whine with these high powered chargers where you will hear a humming sound.

Got one of these around January when they were on slickdeals. It's been great except one of the four usb-c ports stopped charging. Haven't tried customer support yet but hopefully they'll take care of it. Really convenient having only one charger for laptop and steamdeck.

Thanks, sounds like it's a problem, I'll pass.
