365 days to use 1,500 minutes.
QVC frequently runs a deal for the Moto G 5G 2025 for $35 (after new customer discount). Their last run was last month so it could come back anytime soon.

Yes, the code may come back, but if the phone stays $54.99 the $30 off wouldn't work anyway.

It's 1500 mins/texts/mb of data, and that's all you get for 365 days. That's around 4mb of data per day. Or 4 mins of calling per day. It's technically a plan, but it's so limited in what it can do, it's only for those who have virtually no cellular needs.
(Folks love to defend this "deal" by saying they use Wifi, use Google Voice, etc. That's simply using someone else's network. It's like saying "This car is awesome! Sure it only has 3 out of 4 wheels, gets 5 gallons to the mile (yes I said that right), and I get a free bus pass from work! But it's still a great car if you don't use it at all!")
Also, it's a 4G-only phone. With a below-average of 64gb of storage. Those are not bragging points, even for a $60 device.

Google voice is about 200KB/min, so 1500MB would be 7500 min.
Remember folks -- this plan is a bit different than most traditional pre-paid plans.

what's wrong with using Google Voice and WiFi though? Even if you don't use WiFi, you can still use Google Voice, it will just eat into your data.

Same Question for the other one HSN?
Nothing is wrong with using any of that. But it's not using your cellular device for it's intended purpose. Like my example...it's like buying a mediocre car only to use public transit. Just because that's economical, smart, and overall possibly a better solution doesn't change the fact that it's still a mediocre car.
i remember around 15 years ago. there used to be a cheap tmobile plan that only had 100 minutes and i would jump through hoops to make ends meet, just cause it was cheap and had lots of data. i agree that that's not a way to live... unless its the only way you can get things to work. for most people, replacing 2 or 3 espresso drinks with office coffee is a much better place to find savings.
