Redditers have received offer for another free BYOD line ID250385. Check your emails and T-Life to see if you qualify.

YMMV. If you qualify, you can add it without changing your plan. This is BYOD only; financing a phone is not recommended and you may lose your free line promotion.

FYI I don't know if this has been mentioned. The free line still has taxes and fees charged. Around 5-7 dollars.
It depends on your plan. If your plan is tax inclusive, T-mobile pays taxes and fees. If it's tax exclusive, you pay taxes and fees.

Am I not getting this promo , because I already have 7 free lines?
That is not fair at all
That's the biggest weakness of SC. If you had one of the tax inclusive plans, your plan would be $25.

I have the simple choice plan and was able to get the free line!
I called when I saw I had the email and paid the $10.98 connection fee over the phone. My BYOD worked before I got off

I've been a member since 2013 with Tmo One All In Promo and never had luck getting the free line until today!

I messaged tmo rep and they said I qualified. They're mailing me a SIM card. $10 activation fee required. Cheers!

What are ya'll doing these free lines.. farming'em out ?
Yeah I'm curious , I don't want to turn down something useful, I think in a few years my older kid will need one but I have no use for one now, maybe I should grab one for then? Don't want to pass that up I guess
I have one free line from a few years back. I'm on ONE Plan. And have a recent "free" TMO phone also that I'm paying off.

Been using it for travel mainly. I get the $10 credit if I use under 2GB of data so when I'm traveling in the US I'll generally use the free line for maps and general data when I need it. And also gets me an extra 5GB of data if I'm overseas. I think the small $ I pay a month for the free line (if I'm guessing...maybe 66 cents a month?) is worth having it and if I save one month credit on my main phone, it basically pays for itself for the entire year.
[EDIT : no taxes for my current free line. the 66 cents is actually for a reduced Netflix subscription]

I actually just got the email for another free line but I'm debating if I really need it or not.

For me also 10 is max. I had a terrible experience couple years back when the representative added an extra line (not free) and it changed my plan. I had to spent hours talking to many representative until I found one with magic wand who was able to cancel the line and brought my plan back to previous one.

Sounds like they send you a SIM card so yes, it's possible.

If memory serves I actually was able to use my current free line on an old laptop that had 4G built-in.

we have go5G Plus plan with 3 paid and 2 free. All lines have phone purchased with either trade in promo or port in promo. Do we need to pay for free lines if we upgrade the phones by trading in or porting promo? We did upgraded to new phones in Costco. We were not told about paying for free lines.
