great deal, great price! has (basic) dolby vision and hdr10, what more could you ask for in a $214 58" tv (other than if roku isn't your preferred platform of course, in which case, why are you here? )

We have this as the living room TV in our AirBNB rental, and it's great. Roku has an excellent Guest mode.
The picture and sound quality are great, especially in this price range.
I wouldn't use this as my own main TV simply because it doesn't do 120Hz and I'm a gamer.

I thought Hisense was an OK brand.
Alarmed with the comments from peeps who work for Hisense!

I have 2 of them and they have both been great without any problems.
Used one as a background TV for my mother with dimentia for like 2.5 years and it still works very well. It was on essentially all the time because if the TV went off when she was awake, I'd know about it real quick.

Thinking of getting this tv for my elderly relatives. Picture quality just needs to be decent, but sound is really important, I don't want to buy a soundbar. Anyone here own one? Is the built-in sound clear and loud enough for everyday use?

I bought this TV during a Costco sale, for a guest house we were building. There was a delay in opening it up. When I did open it up 7 months later the panel didn't work. The warrany process took about 3 week for them to replace it. The replacement works fine. But the customer experience was lacking.

I have mine wall mounted, but the leg mounts are 3 feet apart.

I'm really happy with this TV. Sound is considerably better than my other Hisense 55 Roku from a few years prior. I paid $24 more. I like the Roku interface though so YMMV.

Got this TV after moving recently and seeing it as a deal. Picture and sound quality seem fine - Rtings had a review and recommended settings for those interested. But it's just a basic TV. I don't game or do any HDR stuff or anything like that, so as long as it streams and displays a picture via HDMI it's fine for me.

I will point out that I can't get Miracast (screen mirroring from phone or PC) to work. I think there is a limitation in the firmware that if you use WiFi as your primary connection, you can't do it. I haven't tried wiring this thing up to Ethernet yet, but folks online were saying if you disconnect the TV from WiFi wireless screen mirroring starts to work again. Haven't had much chance to mess with it but just figured I'd call it out for anyone who was interested in using that feature.
