so I get a permanently locked phone that currently sells unlocked for $600, for $500?

doesn't seem too good? what am I missing? (talking about the base 9)

is this only really a deal on the 9 pro?

ok good to know, and you right that was the best deal. I think like this one my eye skipped over the word unlocked and I thought it was locked for some reason so I missed it.

It's difficult to say at this point. It's possible it might but I'd not bet on it.
