Yes, its been that price the last 2 weeks. I almost pulled the trigger last week but reconsidered. We have 4 vehicles and I do rotate tires after each oil change, but still cant justify the price at $279. My breaker bar was $10. Would be a fun toy though.

Got this deal last time it came around. Already have a charger so I just kept one battery and was able to sell the other battery and charger for $120 pretty easily on FB. Making it $160 for tool and 6.0 battery. Not bad considering the tool itself MSRP is $250.
If you do the HD hack, you can return the two batteries and charger for $150 if you only want the tool itself.

It's hackable if you add the impact and batteries to your cart separately. You can get the impact for $144 this way.
