Mid torque is pointless now. Gen2 stubbys can do 90% of the jobs and if you need to stick with m18 might as well get the big dog high torque. Also if you don't have pending projects might be in your best interest to hold out to see what the Black Friday deals are going to be

I have tried both and mid-torque is a monster compared to m12 stubby. IMHO.
