iPhones are built so well, you won't be able to break it with day to day usage. In use a case mainly to avoid scratches, not that I'm afraid it would break.
This. Nowadays, cases are really more for peace of mind and microscratches. Plus a lot of credit cards give cell phone protection, so it's not really a concern. I have cats and I'm clumsy so my phone gets dropped constantly in the cheapest case and I have never needed to repair it.
In case you were wondering... do people actually put their $2k phones in these cases? Probably. Maybe.
You would be surprised how many of the top case brands source from the same factory as these $4 case brands. The only difference most of the time is the logo on the case.
TPU with corner protection "airbags" are the best cases to use, but keep in mind you're not going to get the best quality at this price point or a strong magnet. Spigen iphone 17 pro max case are not much more so why not buy that instead when it offer much better protection?

I would not since I know. But using the same factory doesn't mean using the same materials, source, etc. Like I could use the baking line of Nabisco but bring my own flour, salt, other ingredients, use the same ovens and baking process yet still would not taste anything like Ritz. Hypothetical analogy, I know, but you get what I mean
I don't do catch balls with my iPhone.
I own this kind of cheap silicone TPU case for 10+ years. Clear case will change color but I don't really care and it became black tinted color case haha. I occasionally drop my phone but never had any issues. I used to sell my phone after two years at eBay so I maintained iPhone like new condition. Nowadays, I trade in my phone so a few scratches will be okay but my phone was perfect condition before I trade-in in this year. Actually I have similar to this phone case but I don't like entire camera area is open because if I put my phone with keys, it might cause scratches so I might buy another similar case with completely closed case with opening camera lenses and light.
