currently $36 on Amazon so that's $18 per month of Ultimate converted.
f*ck them for all of their terrible decision-making after the Activision deal. Studio closures, layoffs, raised prices on consoles, and GamePass.
i did this in March 2023, and got 3 years of GPU for around $120 total.... I need to renew soon
I had found an EA 12-mo. pass deal, with conversion that would have been about a buck cheaper, but went this route to not have to spend an hour entering codes.

I did the PP quick checkout feature. Again, I purchased and redeemed no issues, codes came within minutes.

the good old days.
i don't need or want any extra crap, just want to play with friends on the system and games i already bought. kinda like Amazon to me... can i just pay for the 2 day or less shipping and not the rest of your useless garbage services that you keep raising the price for??? then you have the audacity to slap ads on you're already limited and crappy streaming service!?!?!

Pay for every game individually.
Not to mention upgrading parts every few years to keep up.
You end up paying more, but I guess you get the feeling of pride and accomplishment putting your own box together
"Pay for every game individually" - There are deals/bundles you can buy. Even if you buy games individually, isn't that what you do as a console gamer anyway? Also, not that I'm condoning this- but sometimes you can get new big budget games on the PC for "free." You can't do this on consoles.
"Upgrading parts every few years to keep up" - No one has to do that, it's a choice. If you buy a decent PC today, it'll play all games that come out in the next 10+ years. You may not be able to play the future games at the highest settings but a console wouldn't be able to either. Matter of fact, once a console gets upgraded to the next gen, eventually the newer games will no longer work. With a PC, it'd still work - again, just not at the highest settings.
"You end up paying more" - While you might have to pay a little more upfront in buying a good PC vs console. On PC, online gaming is free. You don't have to pay for Gamepass, Nintendo Online, or PS+ so you end up saving a bunch of money. PC also has a million other purposes and things you can do that you can't do with a console.
I couldn't care less how anyone prefers to play videogames but you're spewing bs.
