These buckets should be free with any purchase - they're made of thin plastic and will actually deform if left in the sun, so they're useless for planting anything in them if left outdoors. Costco, BJs, and Home Depot have good quality buckets.

Please tell me you don't wear clothes with logos on them. At least the bucket is free if you need $30+ worth of tools anyway. I don't think anyone in their right mind is going to HF to spend $30 on stuff they don't need just to get a bucket. Besides, every store sells buckets with their logo on it.
Actually I dont wear clothes with logos on them. But thanks for asking.

Actually yeah, I intentionally avoid buying clothes with large logos. Most you will get from me is something like a small "Patagonia" on the chest of my jacket in a subtle color.
That being said, it is a bucket. Who cares. Of course the free and/or dirt cheap ones have advertising.

You know how many buckets i can get for the money you spend on a patagucci shirt?

So I'm basically paying $30 to give Harbor Freight free advertising wherever I use this bucket?
Uh no? You pay $30 for whatever you're buying from Harbor Freight.

The white plastic handle will shred into pieces after a few months in the sun.

The best buckets are free from commercial bakeries. Whenever I'm at the grocery store or Costco, I ask if they have any empty frosting buckets. They're usually mostly clean—occasionally requiring a quick rinse with dish soap—and no one has ever charged me for them. These are food-grade, typically come with lids, and feel thicker than store-brand buckets. They're available in both 2-gallon and 5-gallon sizes. Once in a while, you run across a baker who is stingy with the buckets. I just make sure to ask another baker on the next visit.

The next best option is pickle buckets from Firehouse Subs: 5-gallon, food-grade, and incredibly durable with a lid for just $3, which goes to their charity. You'd better love the smell of pickles, because that scent lingers for quite a while, even when repurposed as a doggie waste bucket.
