I don't have the walmart one, so I can't speak on that but the one I bought a month ago by LOZAGU. Is pretty darn solid. Rubber grip and has a hole about a half inch long to insert a lanyard if you want or it could be hung up. Lanyard not included. Just thought I post the mallets that I thought was a decent price. Hope that helps!
