I bought a starter line on 8/2025 during their $19/mo annual plan promo and activated the BOGO flex line already. but I checked my line tiles yesterday and I see that I have another free flex line. this happen to anyone else?

yeah ATT sucks so know what you're getting into. additional charges to add other networks

I need a carrier that offers Apple Watch service. Wish T Mobile did this on US Mobile.

US Mobile's support and CEO(!) doxxed a Reddit user because they wouldn't remove a critical post. Truly insane company I wouldn't recommend locking in for a year with.

looking for a point of clarification from those that are more familiar with this plan. Just to confirm, at the end of the year, I could still take advantage of other discounted promotions to re-up without having to port out and back in? I definitely would not want to continue paying the inflated pricing ($390 vs $~200 for premium as an example). if I can then just buy a new planet whatever the current promotional offerings are that seems more reasonable

Where I'm at So-Cal, Dark Star's Data is very slow. Light Speed (T-Mobile) and Warp (Verizon) are better. They are trying really hard to get people to port to Dark Star, because it sucks for many people. If you live in an area where AT&T is good, then you are in luck.
Try the free one month trial first. The Dark Star yearly discount pop up all the time. Don't hurry yourself to get it. During my trial, I had to contact support too many times and spent countless hours. I did try all 3 networks though. However, I would not recommend going in for a year without the trial. Try the trial first to see if they work for you. You do need to port a number to try the trial. I got a google voice number then port out to US Mobile for $3. eSIM phones are easier to set up. If your phone does not support eSIM, you have to chat with support to send you 3 physical SIM for testing. If you do not, they would send you a SIM or 2. I made the mistake of buying the starter kit and they only send me 2 SIM. Talk to the support to get all 3 mail to you for free.

I don't know if it's different for this deal, but for the previous BOGO promotion, they gave 30 days after the activation of the paid line to transfer the free one.

I have US Mobile and on Dark Star . Service is great where I am. Fast and calls are fine. It all depends on the coverage where you are. Some places have bad service and some have great. No issues for me where I am at.

Got all 5 lines ported over from ATT. Great so far. Had issues porting at first due to att having porting locks. Had to call to get it removed but support from us mobile has been great.

I have an extra Flex line that's 1 year free with a port in if anyone wants it. I just send the invite over with this gifted line and you can claim on your individual account.

After Verizon screwed me over after being their customer for 25 yrs, I switched to Mint 2 yrs ago and have been happy since then.
