Hey smart people, I have a question...my son uses a power scooter attachment for his wheelchair and I'm trying to figure out if this battery will work to charge his battery when we're out and about. I know it's not big enough to fully charge the battery but it seems this should be enough power to get him to about 1/3rd of a fill-up. I just don't know if it's strong enough to charge it.

The battery specs are as follows: Samsung 35e cells, 36 Volt * 7Ah = 252 watt hours. The charger is a typical 110V wall plug in charger with a charging "brick". I feel like this should work but would love any input from you pros! Thanks in advance!!

If you plan to use the AC out on this, we need to know the specs of the charger/brick too. For a 7Ah battery it should be fine, but it's best to know the details.

the AC conversion will steal 15% capacity and this is unlikely to give you the whole 97Wh, so this route, you're likely going to get 70% capacity or ~60Wh

Why don't you buy this: https://slickdeals.net/f/18684529-humsienk-12v-100ah-lithium-lifepo4-battery-w-100a-bms-84-free-s-h

Then you get a $15 boost converter and charge the battery directly

Thank you SO much for your help! Right after I posted that I was mad at myself for being too lazy to grab the charging brick but I just did and here are the specs, again really appreciate your input:
Input: 120VAC 50-60hz 90w
Output: 36V 2A
I totally see where you're going with that lifepo battery, only reason this one got my attention is I'm actually thinking of strapping this on to his chair so if he runs out of charge on the road he can pull over and get a bit of a charge to get him back home and this thing is tiny! But I love the ideas and thank you again for the help!

OK, a 90w charger should be absolutely fine but I would strongly consider my last suggestion about boosting that battery to 36V 2A instead.

You could also consider ordering both - if this Amazon one doesn't work out, return it and you still have a HUGE battery for under $100 shipped yummy

Good luck using it for a laptop. 150 watts 'peak' means around 75 watts real power. As long as your laptop is a low power laptop, it might work. I wouldn't count on it. Now If it was 150 watts USB C PD, then thats different and it would power most any usb c powered laptop. But it's not that.
