I bought this to used on a canopy for camping. Worked too well. The magnet stick hard on the metal leg. I have to slide the holder to get it off the canopy leg. Paid $12. May just return and reorder for $6

Pretty sure most standard golf carts have aluminum struts for the roof, so a magnet won't stick. Some do have steel, but where else will you stick this if not?

Every cart I've been in has worked with magnetic accessories like range finders.

It's a niche situation but this works great on the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The pad to the left of the steering wheel is magnetic for any accessories you want. A similar phone holder marketed specifically for the Ioniq is over $30, got this when it was $12 and still a savings.

Perfect for when you want to cruise the Villages and mark out your preferred loofas on Google maps, and also for quick gps to the clinic. I'm all in on this one.

It does NOT handle bumps like tree roots effectively. The mount will stay attached to the cart, but the phone can/will fly out.

My friends new I phone took an unnoticed leap off the cart. Luckily someone found it, but man was he worried for a few hours.

Also, 98% of golf carts have steel/magnetic windshield posts. Source: I've been in thousands of them. There are a few older Club Cars from the early 2000's still around at some courses where you will find aluminum posts, but those are fading fast.

Yeah, pretty sure this only works once. I bought it on a deal a couple months ago, then bought one for my brother using the coupon code, and now the coupon doesn't show up. Still a good deal at $9.99 without the additional 20% off
