This wouldn't be what I'd buy but I've seen one of these in person and gotta say that one could do a lot worse than this at the price point. Pretty decent deal for anyone that doesn't want the best and doesn't care about 120hz gaming. I doubt one can find a new 75" at the price that is better.

This is the 2022 model. The 75 inch version is an IPS panel with 48 local dimming sounds according to rtings. The pro reviews including from rtings are all of the 65 in version which is a va panel though.
A common complaint is vrr and local dimming don't work together.

Is there a rting for the 75" or is it similar? I have a 55u6h that I love but it's just too small

Pretty sure the H generation is from 2022, not 2024. 2024 would be the N generation models.

I have 2025 U6 model with fire tv 75 inch, that I got for 450 for a promotion (exchange for a review). I like it, its better than Sony 86 i have and is mini led, IPS panel with local dimming. Blacks are almost like on OLED. Again and I am not a expert, so I love that display.

Did you really say the "blacks are almost like on OLED"?

Not OLED levels but Hisense ADS Pro displays with more local dimming zones has drastically improved black levels on IPS displays. Clearly OLED who's individual pixels can turn off will always have better black levels From my viewing of the 75U8N and 75U8QG, thier ADS pro panels have very good black levels for a IPS display. If OLEDS are 10, regular IPS displays are 2-3, the ADS PRO I'd give a 6-7.

My 2 year old 65" quit working. Powers on but won't boot up. Apparently a very common problem with Hisense and I would avoid them.

It is. Id always buy an additional warranty with this brand and TCL. The TV isn't a deal if it has to be replaced a couple years later.

The U6H series is a 2022 model. It's virtually identical to the 2023 U6K series... as shown in the Rtings reviews. The 2024 U6N added mini-led and is a better overall TV. It's not reflected in Rtings' reviews because the U6N is rated with a newer, more strict, testing method (v2.0.1) vs. the v1.11 used with the 2022 and 2023 U6 series TVs. The 2025 U65QF series even goes a step further... adding more dimming zones, more brightness, 144Hz, etc... and is a much better TV than the U6H. Again... that's not reflected in Rtings' reviews since they were rated with different testing methods.
