Dewalt's flagship impact driver for $115 is pretty good. I wonder how good it actually sells vs. the dcf870 hydraulic and the compact dcf850. Undeniably the strongest and fastest of the 3 but all 3 are more than capable and have other advantages. After my friend convinced me to borrow his dcf850 I've been smitten with how good dewalt's modern impact drivers feel compared to the kobalt xtr I was using and I've been pretty torn between an 860 or an 870. The quieter hydraulic really appeals to me and has way more performance than what I actually require, but idk if its worth it to pay more just for a quieter tool with overall worse performance. I just put a bid on an open box 870 for about this price or I'd have jumped on this.

Pretty much 2 times faster driving force and 2 times more torque compared to the dcf870

Fasteners Inc just had the hydraulic on sale for $150. I jumped on it, and it's amazing.

I need something to get my brake calipers off, using a breaker bar is back killing on it. Does this have the power to get it off?

Get a impact wrench. This might do the job, but it is not designed for it.

Get an impact wrench. Ryobi makes a great one for what you need.

You'll break the 1/2" adapter long before you can get them off. Depends on the vehicle but a lot of electric impacts won't be able to fit in the space behind the rotors on small cars like a sedan. Compact air impacts like an Astro 1822 are definitely the way to go but you'd need a compressor.

Brake caliper to carrier bolts and carrier to hub bolts are both generally <100 lb ft. My cars are in the 60s for caliper to carrier and 80s for carrier to knuckle. Going up 1 to the 3/8" impact will get that done and a 1/2" impact will definitely get it done. Alternatively, get a breaker bar and hit it with your purse, Nancy.

This thing sucks. Get the Flex Tools Quick-Eject Impact Driver kit at Lowes for $139 (need to add it to your cart to see that price). You get two 2ah Stack Lithium Batteries, a 160 watt fast, and the most power impact driver on the market. Torque Test Chanel did a comparison of the Flex and the Dewalt 860 and the Flex destroyed it. The Flex made over 200 ft/lbs of torque over a 15 second dino run. The M12 Surge is also awesome. Very quiet, smooth power delivery and perfect for more delicate, but enough power for 90% off what you need. It even outperforms the m18 gen1 Surge.
