Within 3 days, go to a Walmart store or a Verizon store.
Pay off the phone $198 + taxes and other fees (not clear where to pay off the phone).
Call Verizon customer care.
Ask to cancel the line to avoid paying even for a month.
Wait for 60 days.

I would definitely do this deal if I was in the market for a phone.
Can someone explain to me what does this exactly mean?
On postpaid you need to activate the line, even for 1 day. Without having to keep service active for the duration.
Even 300 is good deal for me.
I got so many of these promotions they probably did this to encourage people to keep the service.
