I bought this last time for my switch but it does not seem to work for me. I just get black screen on both ends

This is a generic product you can find on aliexpress, it's one of many $5 clones I can assure you don't support sw2.

does 2w really make any difference? I prefer the blue/red one but it's 65w, while the black one is 67w.

It should work to charge it, but not for video out since the switch lite doesn't have video output

answering my own question as I got both today, the only difference in terms of watts is the USB-A port. The black one is 7W max, while the red/blue one is 5W max.

Both look great IMO. The USB cable looks pretty sturdy. They charge my phone very well.

Both. I have this one and have tried it on the S2. They need a firmware update, and these don't support that.
