FYI this has been this price new prior.

Another option, for $50 more you could go with Pioneer's equivalent in the LX805 new at Best Buy.

It has a few more bennies, here is a comparison.

I am no expert but wouldn't a brand new unit for $2070 ($2300 - $230 coupon) is a better deal given the 3 years warranty vs the used one!?

P.S. there is a prime option sold by Electronics Expo and shipped from Amazon for the same price with coupon but for some reason the link redirect to the non prime option!! Compare new and used sellers and you will see it.

At least more than just 4 object based speaker placements & maybe 4 independent sub outs!

Especially since Dirac is such a big draw for this unit, much higher likelihood of maybe getting ART in the future!

Another option is OB directly from EE.
Looks like their 10% EXPO10 code is working on it, so it's $1619 right now.

Several prior OB buyers reported receiving new units!

If this open box price includes the manufacturer warranty, it is definitely the one to get vs a new one!!

P.S. your cart link (I assume it is meant to show the code discount) leads to an empty cart!

They are an authorized seller & per their listing I assume it does "Parts and Labor Manufacturer Warranty".

Maybe someone who purchased an OB can chime in?

Hmmm ok thanks.
Maybe this will help.
Here is the listing, add to cart then add code.

Yes, the open box from Electronics Expo includes the full manufacturer's warranty. I bought one, and it may or may not have ever been removed from its original box. 😉
