2.5 battery is worthless unless you really need the lightweight. The battery will drain fast on most of their tools.

thinking of finally pulling through trigger on this + will get an additional $30 back via mass save rebate. says the sale ends 11/21, do we expect this to get even lower during black friday deals?

you have to go to the Mass Save website and search for lawn equipment rebates and submit a form. only for MA residents but your state may have something similar if not in mass

Slick and even during the fall when everyone needs this.

My 530CFM is dead, and the new board to fix it is $80. So basically a throwaway item once it breaks...

Good price; but I will say that in my OPINION you'll want something bigger than the provided 2.5 Ah battery for this. The 4.0 Ah seems like the sweet spot, both in terms of balance and runtime. Many of the other blowers ship with the 4.0 Ah already; but obviously aren't on sale currently.

More like three to four minutes on turbo with the 2.5 battery.
