Great stuff. Works on all types of wood, except morning wood.

Well to be fair it will lubricate for at least a short while...

I'm hesitant to order this kinda stuff from Amazon or Walmart. I ordered some wood glue (Elmer's Max) from Amazon a couple years ago, and it was clearly well past its shelf life. Deal or not, I'd rather just go to Lowe's or Home Depot, where the inventory turnover is probably quite a bit faster for this sort of thing.

If you have one near by, Menards regular price for the same thing is $8. They've been running -11% all year, so $7.09.

Agreed. Especially since Lowe's is showing 9.89 and HD is 9.98. Not worth the gamble to save $2.

I'd be surprised if either seller product is so old as to not be used. This is a very commonly purchased glue.

I agree with the sentiment, especially for a mild savings.
But I think the product gets turned fast enough, and honestly have you used this stuff past it's shelf life? I still have a little left in a bottle that is 20 years old (no kidding) and the bottle is in rough shape but the glue works just fine.

How? Do you just shake it up? I have some ~5 years old that's all separated, I figured it was no good.

It's not really that separated. And since my bottle is a bit busted after all these years I just unscrew the top and use a stick to reach in and then apply the glue. Any mild separation gets taken care of by a quick stir.
I had another one (dark color) that separated on the shelf and just shaking that up did the trick.
It really is a testament to how good their glue is.

That might have been funny when I was 10, but these jokes are just getting ridiculous on here. How old are you people?

This exact glue with some dollar clamps from Walmart, and I've fixed many wooden chairs tables and dressers. Im on the same bottle two years later, it's huge. Just wipe off the drippings with a wet paper towel before it dries completely or it's hard to remove.
