True, but also some households find having two similar sized fryers OR one larger and one medium sized fryers works exceeding well for daily dinner prep 😎👍🏼. One for the main dish and one for the sides is a great combo. The slightly smaller 6 QT is easier to move around and store as needed. Just make sure they are used on separate electric circuits.

How much bigger the 8qt is and even tho it's only $5 more, is it worth it to get for a family of 3? With limited counter space

Exactly. Also many of them are shaped differently, some are wider, some are deeper, etc., what you are looking for PRIMARILY is the horizontal cooking surface calculation, b/c often times the bigger volume comes from the vertical space and while that is useful for some items, many more items do better in air frying with more horizontal cooking area plus space so items aren't crowded together.

Black Friday sales should be starting pretty soon. I'd wait and see what comes available

I have this air fryer and would not recommend it. You have to manually turn off the 'flip reminder' every time you use it or else it will beep to tell you to flip whatever is in there. You also have to manually turn off the preheat function. The power button is smack dab in the middle which should be where the start button is, gets confusing and even months later I still turn it off on accident. Doesn't go over 400° either. Cooks well but the functionality is annoying

I have had a couple of Air Fryers over the years. I also look at a lot of recipes. I've never seen one that called for above 400 degrees.

Why would an air fryer 'call' for a specific temperature? Asinine comment
