I bought one of these 4-5 years ago @ $20, always lamented not getting more at that price.

Crazy to see how expensive these have become. I paid $20 each on Black Friday several years back. So glad I bought two. They get used constantly.

This aluminum foldable work platform stands out for stability, portability, and extra standing room, making it handy for painting, trim work, ceiling jobs, car washing, truck work, and even loading kayaks. It is light, quick to open and fold, and the aluminum frame does not rust. The main drawbacks are the fixed height, the 12 inch width, and a folding tab that can arrive stuck. At $50, it feels like a solid utility platform if the size and setup fit the job.

The platform can be lightweight and quick to open and fold for frequent garage and yard jobs.

The platform can provide stable extra work surface space for interior painting and ceiling line work.
StrongCreator3879 DMW1980
The platform can help reach the full roof area for washing vehicles without constantly moving a ladder.
jzollmann Tazmania99
The aluminum platform can resist rust and suits outdoor maintenance tasks like pool upkeep.

The folding mechanism can get stuck when the yellow tab binds, requiring troubleshooting to free it.

The cart discount can fail when the selected store uses ship-to-store inventory, leaving the full price.

The platform price can be inconsistent, with some shoppers seeing $90 instead of the expected deal price.

The platform can feel limited for some setups because it lacks height adjustment and has a thin 12-inch width.

Common Questions (5)

It is described as stable, well made, and safer than standing on a bucket. It works well for interior painting, trim work, ceiling lines, truck engine bay work, car washing, and loading kayaks from a roof rack.

At $50 it is considered a fair buy for a lightweight, stable platform with extra standing room, though several owners bought it much cheaper in past sales. It is especially useful for frequent painting, maintenance, and quick household jobs.
DMW1980 Kickstand Cirasa daphatty
It is lightweight and very quick to open, fold, and store. One owner keeps it folded in a shed and can grab it for quick jobs, and another says the yellow lock tab may need a wiggle or a little silicone/WD-40 if it arrives stuck.
jcnix Cirasa ganachain knobby0001
The lower price can appear only when the selected store has stock; if the store is set to ship-to-store, it may stay at full price. Changing to a stocked store or buying in-store has triggered the discount for some shoppers.

The aluminum construction does not rust, and it has been used outdoors around pools, for car washing, and as a bench around a fire pit. Owners also describe it as durable over years of use.

Anyone using something like this to work on taller vehicles?

I have one, and often use it when washing the cars to easily get to the whole roof.

I have one but the stupid yellow tab is stuck. Any tips to get it free so it folds?

Wiggle the legs the tab is holding while you push the tab. Same thing on mine. Once you get it open, hit the mechanism with some WD-40

I have 2 of these and they're great. My wife and I both use them and like them. They're lightweight, easy and quick to setup and break back down and super stable. Having the extra room on the platform is very convenient. The price is just OK at $50, but still worth it. Mine were cheaper, but that was a few years ago.

I have one - use it way more than I expected. Extremely light and easy to grab to use for a quick job.

Trying to figure out why I need more than one to justify buying another.

I picked one of these up for painting and trim work a few months ago, but have been amazed at how often I end up using it. Way more stable than a ladder and tall enough to do anything in an 8' ceiling room.
This was one of my best purchases in the last couple years. Very worth $90, I'd snap this up at $50.

Got a couple of these last year for $25 each with Instacart discount. Super convenient to reach the roof when washing my SUV.

I have used it to load and unload kayaks from the roof rack. Helps avoid unnecessary accidents which could lead to scratch and dents.

I appreciate your comment. The yellow lock tab on one end of mine arrived "stuck" and had to spray it with some silicone and tap with hammer. Freed up quick and like you advised just open and closed the tab several times before storing. Take care.
