The guy says to read the reviews. There are ONLY 24 reviews on this model on amazon or best buy. And most of them are good reviews. (so it must be NEW model, or it would have tons of reviews).
Since I have so many of them, if stuff doesn't work right, generally, I just unplug it for about 30 seconds. Restart it and it fixes what needs to be fixed.
Also, over the last few years, sometimes might get weird. But not often at all. My p.c. and other tech stuff sometimes gets weird, restart UNPLUGGING the device works 99 percent of the time. All the remotes can be reset and I sometimes take 2 or 3 remotes and attach it to just one tv (maybe one remote on bed stand, one on computer table, etc. Also, if I ever have a problem, I go to YOUTUBE and ask "how to you fix this or that", and others post SOLUTIONS.
What is nice about insignia fire tv's is bluetooth option, roku doesn't have that. Also, with Fire TV I can attach mulitple remotes, and can have more than one fire TV in same room, can't do that with roku. Amazon did the remote right. If I have problem, I research it and it has worked for me.
Now, I hate echo show devices lately because of the "sponsered ads" that are forced on the echo shows. So I have my problems with Amazon, but so far the Insignia hdtv's work fine for me.
I understand others have other favorite tv's, and nothing wrong with it. I like what I like, and you like what you like.
p.s. I guess I should add, mostly I use PC with these insignia fire TV's , and attach my TIVO or apple 4k TV, other stuff into hdtv. Android tv soundbar, ... but in a pinch, if Ijust plug this tv into anyroom, it works just plugging it in the wall , and it just works for me. Also, I can plug antenna in it and I get about 100 channels that way, and have plex, and sideload stuff. You can't do that stuff with ROKU! I have new roku's and fire hdtv, and I prefer the "extra's" I do on my fire tv.
