The cheapest way to get the batteries in their daily auction. I got 6 and the rack for 4200 delivered and tax included. Bid when they have coupons that can be applied. Have to buy in different auctions as they only auction 1 or 2 battery setups daily.

Rather have a single 10-12k inverter though. I'm guessing they are trying to clear out those 5K inverters.

Additionally, wouldn't the inverters need to be UL-listed to be permitted to connect to the grid?

The batteries mention UL1973 and UL9540A but no certifications for the inverters. Is anyone concern about not getting the permit from the city if the inverters are not UL listed?

How easy is this to self install? Just bought a home with sunrun panels and a backup automatic propane generator... Would love to have some solar/battery backup so I can stay on grid during outages.

I'm not worried about total capacity for now. I'd just like to continue production during power outages.
