If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy

Could you post an update later and let us know if this option works for porting over from cricket? Thanks!

It might take 2 bill cycles to see if I actually get the bill credits.

I am completely stuck in the 3yr contract with Att.They promised me on the phone 4 lines and new phones for about 125$/month. They are charging me 245$/month instead. They told me that the rep committed a mistake. My problem is that Att is the only carrier that has coverage at my home.Is there any way i can come out of this stupid contract and go to US mobile(their Att option) at a fraction of current monthly cost?
This is exactly my story. I am 7 months in of 36 months and would love to switch back to tmo. Someone already asked this but I don't see the answer- did this promo works with Tmobile paying off my existing remaining balances of my phones?

So looking at this deal. If you port in 1 number and add 2 more new numbers can you get 3 new phones or is it only for ported in numbers? Wanna get the kids lines for Christmas. Thanks

Hi all! I am currently in market for new iPhones to give to my parents abroad. Is it possible to avail this deal and flip the phones on eBay and buy unlocked phones from Apple while still getting the bill credit from T-Mobile for the 2 years? I will be continuing service with T-Mobile for the entire duration but weary of the billing credit
Just like any other T-Mobile phone deal, T-Mobile doesn't care if you use the phone or not. You just need to maintain the lines to continue getting the bill credits. So yes, you can sell the phones or simply never use them if you want.

Selling these phones (locked to T-Mobile) that are still being financed by you over the next 2 years is the biggest issue. In the worst case scenario, whoever buys your phones are taking the risk that you close the lines, fail the pay the phone balance due, and the phones get blacklisted. Buyers might not be sophisticated enough to know of this possibility though.

also taxes and fees are excluded. They always say the monthly base charges are unchanged, but add misc. extra fees.
That's an extra $6-7 per month

That's a very narrow clause for port ins. Blocks people like mint users from getting a family deal
Yeah, carriers like Mint and Tello are a no go.

Told by the Rep that it could be somewhere between $125 to $135/month including taxes and fee for Houston area. Could be a bit different for other locations.
Thank you

Just spoke with tmobile to see any deals for one line. Can get a free iPhone 17 Pro if I am on a $100 plan for 24 months. Don't know how much data and hotspot comes with the 4 phone plan here or how the other goodies compare. But I should just transfer one line and open 3 more lines, get 4 iphone 17. Pay the $100/month and sell the extra 3 phones. Let's say $500 each. That's $2,400-$1,500 = $900 for one free iPhone 17 and service. Or, full price ($900) for one iPhone 17 and free service for 2 years. Or, we can look at it any way we'd like.
Regardless, the best deal for one line is just not very good at all. I'm fine with not getting as good of a deal as the 4 line plan but it would be great to get a deal that's half as good or even 1/3 as good!

Really? I am surprised. You ported out and within a week or something ported back in?

Ported my Visible lines to Spectrum ($20 activation + $30 unlimited per line) and then to T-mobile today at Costco and the phones will be shiped in the first week of December due to backorder. Could not find the cheaper option that Costco Tmobile will accept.
