It's similarly priced through knife center. You won't get fakes from them.

This is a better knife than a bug out. I own both. This is smoother, better steel, and a stronger knife, with the same warranty. Benchmade makes some really nice knives. But this Kershaw in particular is better than a comparable Benchmade

This looks like it has a horrible pinch point, can anyone that owns one comment?
There is no pinch point. Its a smooth very comfortable knife. Its in the same quality category as a benchmade, spyderco or Hogue. Zero Tolerance is KAI's (parent co of kershaw & ZT) premium quality knives. Zero Tolerance is always in a different price category.Just like WE knives are the premium brand of the parent co of Civivi.

Manufacturers have been doing some amazing stuff with the crossbar lock since Benchmade's patent on Axis expired. The $10 Ozark Trail knife from Wal-mart has a better action than any of the Benchmade knives I have owned.
The Ozark trail Bugout clone is an amazing knife for $10. The D2 steel is brittle though. As long as its not usef to pry things or toouch torque is put on the blade its a good budget knife. There have been plenty of complaints about lock spings breaking on the ozark trail knives but they are easy to replace thanks to youtube. There is an aluminum scale ozark trail knife that is also fantastic l. With better steel than D2 . It has 14c28n and a tanto blade fot $20

Couldn't be better timing for me! Lost all my pocket knives of any repute during a move this summer and was thinking I'll get a nice Kershaw next sale I see.I had a co-worker who swore by them and carried one that had a similar blade shape to this (don't think it was the OG Bel Air though), anyway his outlasted multiple Gerber and Benchmade I have had.Looks like a really good knife so I grabbed one with same day, will report back if it somehow sucks horribly Smilie
What are you doing with a pocket knife to wear out multiple benchmades and gerbers?

I've bought about everyone of my Kershaw knives from Amazon and have never received a fake one...lol. I have A LOT. Seems like silly fear mongering.

Its benchmade. Do even better and get a spyderco.
Or how about another couple of steps better - a Rick Hinderer.

I just ordered two HK Exemplar Clip Points. Should I cancel one of them and get this Kershaw?
