its absolutely a great deal from the LG pater tore.

i just ordered with 10% promo code.
you will have those:
1. free wall mount and free installation (with limited side movement, so you need to double check where is your stud.
2. free bluetooth speaker + 2.1 soundbar.
3. after purchase, a review for a $200 virtual card as rebate.
4. amex have 4% in my platinum card. partner store may not count, but i dont know. it is still LG.com to me.

with tax, its around 1700, but if you factor in the extras, its a much better deal compare costco. plus i have some protection from amex.

not sure, but they have a link to do that i believe if you click through the promotion page. there is a deadline though, have to submit review before that.

I find it remarkable that, out of 23 comments, so far, only 6 have addressed the posted Costco deal, while 17 have been related to the LG partner store.

Yeah personally I'm still eyeing up this deal more than that one. 5 year warranty and going through Costco is well worth the almost $200 more in my opinion, especially considering I'd never use the other add-ons from that other deal.

On a 77" TV and for a $2K investment (with tax etc.), having the vendor local and willing to take the product back for 90 days, no questions asked, a difference of effectively $100 or less (considering the $100 warranty makes the comparable price $1700 to 1620, and using the Costco credit card with executive membership gives those who use it $72 back), is IMHO not worth the potential for hassles with another vendor

Is it worth $400-$500 more? You get $200 to review on the partner store which is 1400, sell the wall mount and speaker for 100, that's around 1300.
