IMHO 34c/oz is a slick deal. I've been buying coffee from Amazon for years and while the deals have continued, it feels that inflation has finally kicked in with coffee beans.

Except that's not the "same coffee." You bought their medium roast ground coffee. Fantastic price, but not whole beans.

This is in no way slick nor a deal. I just bought 2x32oz of this same coffee on Amazon for $13.98 and that is a deal they run a LOT, bought it twice for that in just the past two months. This "deal" is about 50% higher in price.

Wow... Tough crowd. This is ABSOLUTELY a good price for coffee beans. Anytime you're below $.50 an ounce, particularly for a recognized good(even if not great) brand, you have a deal. This is WELL below that threshold. Remember, you need to add that second bag to get the deep discount. Slickdeal, OP... Keep it up, and thank you!

Ground coffee for under 20 cents an oz is a regular deal? I'd totally buy that. My wife likes making coffee in the timer machine, don't care about the quality she loads it up with milk and sugar anyway waste to prepare good whole bean coffee. Big tub of store brand ground coffee is still like 43 cents an oz though retail price.

If you buy from amazon (storage) in the first place, you must not be that picky. Same goes for chocolate. Even the one at Costco used to have roasting date two weeks before purchase, and that was good... before the pandemic. After, they had the same date but smelled and tasted stale(r), and now no more date. No mater what brand, or even whole vs ground, coffee from amazon is not going to be anything close to fresh tasting. No chance.

Community Coffee labels their coffee with a best-by date that is 180 days (6 months) after the roast date, so you can figure it out easily enough.

There are no best-by dates or roast dates on any products on Amazon but in my experience the products always have absolutely abysmal freshness, certainly anything on sale will be very near or even well past its expiration date. That's why it's on sale, obviously.

I bought their ground coffee and they were bad. I had to use twice as much as other brands to get same taste.

Yeah, grounded coffee is not a good deal unless all going to be used up in a few days. The oxidation makes it spoil rapidly unless you vacuum seal once the bag is opened.

Anyhow, in for 1.
