Just a word of caution, these absorb water. Wore to a few beach days and they started smelling and had to throw them out

yeh I dont like the ones from adidas that absorb water like these (maybe you can use them to slip on to walk outside but even around the pool i didnt like them that much).
They had some other ones i got from them years ago that were a hard foam that don't absorb any water. What is the name of that Adidas model?

In the house, i just use my Oofos recovery sandals.

Both Adilette Shower Shoes and Adilette Aqua are good for beach / pool use. They are not nearly as soft or as comfortable as the comfort slides (yet still very wearable) since the foam is much firmer, as you noted.

Yeah, there's a difference between the comfort slides and aqua slides. The latter are meant to get wet. I learned that the costly way.
