I was able to get the 10 Pro for $389 by selecting the 20GB plan and using code YEAROFMINT. I'm not sure how the math worked out that way, but I'll take it!

Same here. I ordered on Monday without the code using paypal. 2 days later, I got cancelled email. I called them and they said my shipping and billing address are not the same. I updated it and of course it was out of stock until today. I just tried every payment that they recommended, paypal. Apple payment, 2 different types of credit card. None of it is working...
I'm in the same boat. I've been trying to order since Monday. Tried with a PC, Android phone, Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Brave to try to check out. Different PayPal accounts and different credit cards. None worked. Private mode did not. I would really appreciate if someone can think of any other way to get it checked out.

eSIM can be downloaded via QR code from another device. Then activated and it will establish a mobile connection. I do it all the time in Europe with prepaid eSIMs.
Wouldn't you still need a connection to the Internet? The QR code is just pointing to a web location/server to download the eSIM.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that in the US.

I ordered it with paypal account and it was shipped. My name and billing address on paypal is different from shipping address, I just used shipping address for both addresses the order went through without any problem.

When turning on for the first time, do NOT connect to a Wi-Fi network or use the Mint eSIM. My guess is many are just connecting to wifi and trying to download an eSIM from their current provider and its getting locked by Mint.
I am the one who first posted about the unlocked phone in this thread. I had connected to Wi-Fi and it remained unlocked. I guess, it gets locked only after installing Mint app and activating Mint eSIM.

Also, question to the people, it came locked to Mint, did your phone come in original Google box or Mint box. My phone came in original Google box and it was unlocked.

Activation code is in the order confirmation email. That was what I saw from mine.

It's fine if the the phone connects to wifi. That didn't lock my phone to Mint. My phone stayed unlocked even after I connected to wifi to copy items from my old phone.

Dead for the Pixel 10 Pro. The XL model is still a decent price at $399 plus $180 for the annual plan.

I ended up canceling my XL order once I found out the eSIM had to be activated within 45 days. If the eSIM had an expiration of 6-12 months I would do the deal since my current annual plan is not up until Summer 2026.

I wasn't able to place my order online. I called 866-995-8807 and told the voice prompt I wanted a person. Then I had to say I was having website issues for cellphones. Then specifically had to say it was placing an order. From there I finally got a person and told them the exact deal I wanted and he was able to ring it up for me. It was $399 for the 256gb Pixel 10 XL Pro and $180 for 12 months of unlimited data for a total of $579. There was a $25.25 recovery fee plus all of my local, state, and federal taxes.

There is a method folks went through to get it unlock.

When turning on for the first time, do NOT connect to a Wi-Fi network or use the Mint eSIM. Get a new esim from your current provider and activate it on the Pixel. This prevents the phone from receiving the signal from Mint to network-lock it. If you don't follow this, it will network lock. My guess is many are just connecting to wifi and trying to download an eSIM from their current provider and its getting locked by Mint.
I didn't do mine this way. I just turned it on, went through standard setup process without entering any google account, connected to my wifi, did all security updates, reboot and transferred my postpaid T-Mobile physical sim card to esim.

Try without trade in. I had a same problem but it went through when I didn't add trade-in.
