This bundle pairs a Galaxy S25 with a year of Mint service, and the strongest draw is the low effective price for a flagship phone plus unlimited plan. The S25 is described as fast, smooth, light, and strong on battery and camera performance, with Samsung features and long software support adding appeal. Mint is tied to T Mobile and works well in some areas, including Chicago and rural Missouri, with hotspot data recently raised to 20GB. The main cautions are order processing errors, possible new customer and port in restrictions, and spotty Mint reception in crowded stores. A solid value if Mint coverage fits your area.

I use FF on Android. Having access to the FF extension store is great, but it appears that Google has explicitly gone out of its way to block PIP on Android, so none of the extensions that explicitly support it or other YT workarounds seem to be working anymore.

NewPipe and YTVanced don't appear to be in F-Droid. I've tried Tubular, but it's not seamless.
Would definitely just use Newpipe, you can download direct from their website. I'm pretty sure it's in F-Droid as well, but I could be mistaken

then why did you go in this thread?
If he's like me, he wanted to educate himself on why people are spending all that money on a phone.. when moto g edge with 8gb RAM and 128 or 256gb storage suits me just fine.

Should the phone be in Usa to get it unlocked?
I'm pretty sure that doesn't matter.. But you need an internet connection

I can't find anywhere on mint page that it requires porting in a number to get this deal. Is it really, or I can get a new number?

Good luck ordering. I spent hours yesterday trying to get one to go through and chatting with customer service several times. Finally they had me try PayPal which worked, but then a bit later I got an email that they refunded the order 😆
It's like they don't want my money for some reason
Over the past week, I have had so many problems getting my phone and internet to go through. I literally spent over 5 hours on the phone with various reps and supervisors to resolve my particular issue. Yesterday, even though the equipment is on its way, my PayPal link was denied.

I have been with Mint for several years now and have never really had any problem with my phone service. And I'm sorry, they're stupid AI generated assistant is totally worthless!

I tried getting the 5G internet/unlimited phone plan a couple of weeks ago and I had so many problems in ordering, then reordering and returning the original order... The internet is an independent Minternet company from Mint mobile itself. I spent many hours on the phone with sales, customer reps and two supervisors. I never could get it resolved, so I just flat out canceled everything and will never say anything positive about my Mint experience.

I use the Adblock for Android to block advertisements on YouTube. It also offers a somewhat cluji VPN. It is not on the Play store and you have to get it from the website. It is an excellent ad blocker but can sometimes interfere with the intermediate websites that may be in the chain of reaching the desired one... Those are the cookie collectors.

I'm a iPhone guy since the iPhone 3 model. But I'm also a cell phone addict and have many android phones. The S25 is my favorite android phone. It's light quick with great battery life and takes great pictures. I have the 2024 edge, the 2025 Razr , the S23fe , the Pixel 9 and this is better than all of them.

Yes they still have a ton of pre installed apps. But yes you can uninstall most and disable the Samsung ones which they deem you can't uninstall.

Honestly if you haven't owned Samsung in a very long time you're only hurting yourself. Samsung has become the default best rounded flagship phone for Android. They have very little software bugs, very reliable hardware, very long software support, frequent security updates, and a robust ecosystem of supporting accessories.
Is it still possible to flash these with the generic Samsung firmware image that gets rid of the carrier specific junk? I did this a while back with a S23FE I picked up from MetroPCS. Got rid of the annoying MetroPCS splash screen as well.

I've been on Mint in rural MO for the past 4 months and got their 12 month plan deal they did. You port your number over to an unlocked phone or buy one of theirs. I love it, zero issues. They even upped their Hotspot data from 10GB to 20GB recently.
